Accommodation

BudWood provides accommodation for young people with complex needs. Currently Budwood has ten homes in Dorset and Hampshire.

Dorchester

  • Dorchester – 2 bed regulated children’s home
  • Northernhay – 4 bed supported living home

Bournemouth & Poole

  • Wimborne – 3 bed support living home
  • Talbot – 3 bed supported living home
  • Charminster – 3 bed supported living home
  • Baiter Park – 1 bed solo regulated children’s home
  • Poole – 1 bed solo supported living home

Southampton

  • Portswood – 3 bed (+ emergency room) supported living home
  • Woolston – 2 bed regulated children’s home
  • Highfield – 3 bed supported living home

The homes are furnished with quality furnishings and beddings and have the feel of a family home. Each has comfortable communal areas, where young people are encouraged to share in freetime together – watching Netflix, playing cards, X-box and board games. Young people have their own cupboard spaces in the kitchens, and there is storage for bikes outside. Young people are allowed to bring their small pet (e.g. hamster, but not a dog).
