At Budwood, we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our team members through the Budwood Recognition Awards.

This month, we’re thrilled to announce the winners from the East and West regions: Roswitha Embacher and Raymond Burton. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated unwavering dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to the values that define Budwood.

Roswitha Embacher (East)

Rose has shown remarkable growth over the last three months. A passionate advocate for the voices of young people, she brings creativity and determination to her role.

Notable highlights of Rose’s contributions include:

  • Supporting Young People: Rose has travelled extensively along the south coast to locate and ensure the safety of young individuals, embodying her commitment to their well-being.
  • Embracing Leadership: As a key worker, she has taken on a vital role in creating positive changes for the young people she supports.
  • Pursuing Growth: Rose recently completed her probationary period with flying colours, earning a nomination to pursue an NVQ Level 4 qualification.
  • Dedication to Budwood: Despite traveling from Alresford daily, her passion and commitment to the Budwood mission never waver.

Raymond Burton (West)

Ray has earned recognition for his outstanding work in building meaningful relationships with young people and fostering harmony within their living spaces.

Key highlights of Ray’s impact include:

  • Conflict Resolution: By skilfully de-escalating challenging situations and conducting restorative sessions, Ray has helped young people navigate difficult living dynamics.
  • Role Modelling: From maintaining a pristine home environment to demonstrating good boundaries, Ray sets an excellent example for the young people in his care.
  • Creating Joy: Ray’s playful and upbeat demeanour brings happiness to the home, making it a welcoming and fun environment for everyone.

Both Rose and Ray exemplify the core values of Budwood, going above and beyond to create positive, nurturing environments for young people. Their dedication and achievements inspire us all, and we are delighted to recognise their efforts with this award.
