Our Staff Team

Working together to change the lives of young people

At Budwood we’re proud of our staff team, which is made up of a diverse group of hard-working individuals from a variety of backgrounds who share a commitment to improving the lives of children. Our homes are staffed by both male and female Residential Support Workers who work day in, day out to achieve the best outcomes for the children at Budwood.

  • Our staff act as positive role models for children, modelling positive behaviour.
  •  At least one member of staff will be in the home at all times, offering 24/7 support for young people.
  • Our staff use the C.A.T.C.H® Model alongside therapeutic parenting techniques to support young people who have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences.
  • Our staff receive monthly clinical supervision with the House Therapist.
  • Staff have regular opportunities to take part in training opportunities, team learning events and practice their skills.

“The team are wonderful and
very supportive of one another. I feel like I’m part of an amazing work force, and not only that, an extended family.”
