We are able to provide family therapy, AIMs Assessment, direct therapy, tuition, supervised contact, increased staff supervision and outreach by prior agreement.
All young people will receive their benefits / bursary. They are responsible for this themselves, and for budgeting. Support will be given to young people to budget.
As part of the BudWood Independence Skills Builder programme our staff will support the young person with acquiring the skills needed for independent living.
Young people will be encouraged to engage in activities, in and outside the home with particular focus on physical activities including running, swimming, cycling and yoga.
Young people are responsible for registering with a GP, Dentist and Optician. Support and guidance will be given to young people to help them achieve this.
BudWood provides young people with 24-hour support. At least one member of staff will be available at all times with training in therapeutic parenting and caring for a child with an attachment disorder.
Staff are available to support, guide and help the young people continue with their education, training or employment with the assistance of an education specialist.
BudWood provides accommodation for up to 3 young people. All bedrooms are furnished with quality furnishings and beddings. Young people are able to bring their own furniture if they would prefer.
