Admin/Finance Administrator

Salary: £10.00 – £12.00 per hour dependant on experience

Hours: Part-time

Location: Hampshire/Dorset

The hours are flexible and the successful candidate will be home based but expected to travel within Dorset and Hampshire. The business is focused around supporting young people with complex needs, and therefore although the successful applicant with not be solely working with young people you will be required to visit the homes.

Responsibilities and duties as an Admin/Finance Assistant include:

  • Provide efficient service to Directors and House Managers
  • Management of Staff HR Files
  • Processing New Starters and Leavers
  • Staff absence monitoring
  • Time sheets and rota queries
  • Pay queries
  • Submitting payroll to Accountant
  • Booking Agency Staff
  • Ordering stationary
  • Use of computer based packages including: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Handling telephone enquiries, taking messages
  • Management of training events
  • Purchase Order Management
  • Reconsolidating debitcard payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Purchase invoice processing
  • Processing Staff Expense claims
  • Pushing through Approved Suppliers

Person Specification

  • Finance experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Computer skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (In particular Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Confidence to use other finance computer packages eg Sage, Quickbooks, Freeagent

Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
