Operations Manager

Salary: £40 – £45K dependant on experience

Location: Dorset/Hampshire

Candidates must have experience in working in social work and / or residential services.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the new role of Operations Manager, responsible for residential children’s services in Bournemouth & Southampton. The services include therapeutic residential homes for young people aged 16+ with complex needs. It is important that the Operations Manager has a good understanding of working with children who have suffered trauma and abuse.

The ideal candidate will either have a social work qualification or have experience of residential children’s homes management.

The ethos of the service and home’s are that staff provide safe, nurturing and therapeutic parenting to young people in family style homes.

Support is provided 24/7 by residential support workers who are supported by a clinical team to ensure their practice remains therapeutically driven and with an awareness of the impact of complex trauma and adverse childhood experiences. Each house has a full time House Manager, who the Operations Manager will directly supervise.

Budwood is a small but growing business, with the Director having over 25 years experience in working with looked after children. Our homes are highly rated, renowned for delivering exceptional quality, extensive support and stability for young people.
Due to the expansion of Budwood and the business plan of increasing the number of our homes across the South West we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operations Manager to support the Directors in delivering our services.
